Abstract This is the first of a series papers that will introduce user-friendly, detailed, and modular Galactic Chemical Evolution Model , GalCEM tracks isotope masses as function time in given galaxy. The list tracked isotopes automatically adapts to complete set provided by input yields. present iteration 86 elements broken down into 451 isotopes. prescription includes massive stars, low-to-intermediate-mass Type Ia supernovae enrichment channels. We have developed preprocessing tool extracts multidimensional interpolation curves from yield tables. These improve computation speeds full convolution integrals, which are computed for each channel. map integrand quantities onto consistent array grids order perform numerical integration at step. differential equation solved with fourth-order Runge–Kutta method. constrain our analysis evolution all light intermediate carbon zinc, lithium. Our results up extremely metal-poor regime abundances. provide tools track mass rate change individual on typical spiral galaxy final baryonic 5 × 10 M ⊙ .
